How do I participate in the White Paper Library Program
You can participate in one of two ways. The online bidding site, which you are currently visiting, provides all you need to get your whitepapers up and running and generate leads today. Just click "Sign Up Now" and enter the necessary information. Or you can contact one of our sales representatives. Where will my white papers appear?
Listings appear in promotional modules on Ziff Davis Internet's site pages and within our white paper directory. You can choose our Contextual Targeting option and/or IT Rotation.

What is the difference between your Contextual Targeting option and IT Rotation?
The Contextual Targeting option allows you to run your white papers only on pages in relevant product categories. IT Rotation, on the other hand, reaches a less targeted audience but runs on higher volume pages. We recommend that IT Rotation be a part of every buy, although you may want to bid higher for your core category.

How does the bidding system work?
A maximum of twenty-five bids are accepted per category. Only the top three bids will appear within the on-site modules. The remaining twenty-two will appear only in the white paper directory. Your bid reflects the amount you will pay for each click to your white paper download.

The minimum bid for IT Rotation is $1.00. The minimum bid for Contextual Targeting is $2.00.

Will I be notified if I am outbid?
You do have the option to receive notification via e-mail when you are outbid. After setting up your account, go to the account manager tab, select an account user under Edit User Info, select Preferences, and opt to receive an e-mail regarding outbids.

What is the relationship between Ziff Davis Media and IndustryBrains?
The White Paper Library is a Ziff Davis Media program. IndustryBrains currently provides the infrastructure to support the Library, hosting the signup and account management pages, the directory and listings, and supplying bid tools and reports.

If you modify your bid amount, the change should publish within minutes. If you make changes to the title, description, or URL, the listing will need to be reviewed again for relevance. Please allow 3 business days for the review process.

How long will it take for listing changes to appear online?
If you modify your bid amount, title, description or URL, the change should publish within 15 minutes to 4 hours, depending on the site you will appear on. This is because listings are not requested in real time by our premium sites. It may take 15 minutes to 4 hours for our publisher sites to update their cache.

What determines my placement?
Your bid amount determines the order in which your listings will be displayed. The higher you bid, the higher you place. Only the top three bids will appear on the on-site modules. The remaining twenty-two will appear only in the white paper directory. As a result, to maximize downloads of your white paper, it is important to maintain a top-three bid for the categories in which you participate.

No. Listings that feature all caps in the title or description will generally not be approved. Exceptions include acronyms (DVD) or a trademarked brand name.

What payment plans does IndustryBrains you offer?
IndustryBrains offers three different payment plans to suit every individual need.:

Continuous Traffic Plan - Advertisers will enjoy uninterrupted service with this plan. You will determine an amount you would like IndustryBrains to charge your credit card when there are 5 days of click charges left on the account. You will receive an email notification of the charge. This ensures that your campaign will enjoy uninterrupted success without all the hassles. IndustryBrains takes care of everything for you.

Monthly Traffic Plan - Do you have a fixed budget you can't go over each month? You will determine an amount you would like to spend each month. When your balance reaches $0, your search listings will be taken offline until the next month. At the anniversary date of each month from the time you register, we will charge your credit card the pre-determined amount you choose to activate your listings again. You will receive an email notification of the charge every month.

Pay-As-You-Go Plan - Want to see if IndustryBrains will work for you? In this plan, you pay a minimum of $100 to activate your account and use that balance towards click through charges to your site. When your account balance gets low, we notify you via email that you need to replenish your account. If you exhaust the funds in your account, we interrupt your service until you make another deposit to cover future clickthroughs to your site.

What types of reports can I see?
Advertisers have access to the Performance Summary and Billing Transaction Report. The Performance Summary report allows an advertiser to search by timeframe and view clicks and charges on search terms and IndustryTargets. Billing Transactions will display by time frame, all transactions that occurred on an account. For example, all credit card charges, click charges, etc.

Yes, you can. However, if you take your account offline, your listing position will be lost. In order to do this, contact clientservices@industrybrains.com.

Yes, you may. Just contact clientservices@industrybrains.com. However, IndustryBrains offers a feature where, with one login, you can view all accounts in one interface. That way, you can open up several accounts to manage different products or campaigns.

IndustryBrains uses a number of methods to prevent multiple clicks. Due to security reasons, we cannot disclose our methods or processes. However, maintaining the integrity of the IndustryBrains Network is one of our biggest concerns.
