FAQ's
The goal of the IDG Techwords PPC Programs is to provide users and advertisers a comprehensive and relevant marketplace. The following Frequently Asked Questions will help you manage your IDG Techwords listings more effectively.
What is the TechWords PPC Marketplace?
The Techwords PPC Marketplace program is a highly cost-effective online advertising model. The program is simple: place your ads on our site, and when a reader demonstrates an interest in your product or service by clicking on your ad, you pay for that qualified click. (If your ad is displayed but not clicked upon, you pay nothing.) We also allow you to control your costs by setting a daily budget cap. Once the cap has been reached, the program is halted until the following day.
How is this program any different from other contextual programs?

Can I target my ad to particular areas on your site?
You can choose to place your ads on sections or specific pages of our site. With bid-for-placement, you can bid for placement on specific, single pages. This is a fantastic way to ensure premium placement on some of the highest-traffic sections of our site. If you prefer broader coverage on the rest of the site, you can continue to place your ads by choosing Run of Section topics. Read on for a more detailed run-down of your site placement options.

Does IndustryBrains review all listings? How long is the ad review process? How will I know when my listings have been approved?
If you modify your bid amount, the change should publish within minutes. If you make changes to the title, description, or URL, the listing will need to be reviewed again for relevance. Please allow 3 business days for the review process.
How long will it take for listing changes to appear online?
If you modify your bid amount, title, description or URL, the change should publish within 15 minutes to 4 hours, depending on the site you will appear on. Yes. Ads that do not adhere to these guidelines may not be approved. Click here for Advertising Guidelines.
